Support education and Welfare
AIV supports self-reliance activity for women and education for students in 5 places in India and 1 place in Uganda, Africa.
Agra
AIV supported Lopamudra Vidhya Mandir (school) since it established. This school is open for any students regardless of economical issue, social status, gender or creed. Our supports for this school are a school building construction project, scholarship program and supplements for classes. Since 2009, AIV has started fare trade project called "Sapunoko Purakarna Project," which means "Make a Dream comes True" in Hindi. Mothers who can't pay school tuition for kids earn money through this project and make thier kids go to school.
Bengaluru
Bengaluru is located in South part of India. AIV provide a grant for a local NGO called "Sampurna". Sampurna has been doing education support for local students such as providing school supplies.
Another local NGO called the National Council of Women in India (NCWI) is our support organization. Also, AIV has started a fare trade project in Bengaluru since 2010. 4 women who live in slum join this project; their goal is to have thier own small shop.
Japanese university students joined AIV study tour collaborated with the women to creat business card holders and they all sold out.
Wardha
Wardha is located in the middle of India; AIV supports a scholarship program for a medical student and a nursing student this year. Another scholarship program we are supporting is for families of leprosy patients and students who are suffering from poverty. This scholarship program is supported by Yoshihide Oshima who is blind and died with leprosy left a will to say "Please use my pension for Indian people who are suffering from leprosy like me". In 1987, Tsubosaka Dera Kushtha Sewa Pratishthan (TDKSP), which became local organization in Wardha, is established by Mr.Oshima's donation.
Bhopal
In Bhopal, Arushi is a local NGO that AIV support. Arushi helps children who have difficulty with mentally, developmentally, visually disabled and thier families. Mainly our job is to help support for education and self-reliance support for them.
